Sometimes, at the end of a long work week, you just need…some singing puppets!

Here’s a throwback from the late 1970’s, known as the “Job Song.” This bouncy little tune featuring the lovable blue muppet, Grover, might come in handy as a fun way to introduce a Job Readiness class discussion on short term/long term planning:

Oh, and in case you missed it, there was breaking news from Sesame Street last week. They introduced the newest member of the Sesame Street cast, Zari, the first Afghan muppet to be featured on the show.

With a bright purple body and colorful traditional outfits, Zari is a 6-year-old girl whose character will focus on female empowerment as well as mental and physical health. Meet Zari:
