This documentary follows three Lost Boys from Sudan on their resettlement journey in the US. It illustrates all of the struggles our clients face and many of the employment strategies and challenges in our daily work.
It also includes some holiday theme musings about the commercialism of our celebrations, which is why my family added it to the list of holiday movies we watch together every year.
The humor amidst coverage of a serious subject makes it enjoyable, as well as educational.
(Every Friday we highlight one entertainment option related to our clients or some aspect of our work to help you celebrate the weekend and possibly recommend to employers and other community supporters in the following week.)
